Company Policy for Rentals
1. Overview
Primestar is committed to providing high-quality decor rentals and exceptional customer service. To ensure the smooth operation of our rental services and the maintenance of our inventory, we have established the following policies regarding decor rental fees, card authorization holds, and product return conditions.
2. Rental Fee and Card Authorization Hold

Authorization Hold: A refundable card authorization hold will be placed on the renter’s card for all decor rentals. The hold amount will vary based on the total value of the rented items and will be disclosed at the time of booking.

Purpose: The authorization hold serves as security to cover potential damage, late returns, or loss of rented items.

Refund Policy: The hold will be released within 7 business days of the return of the rented items, provided:

The items are returned on or before the agreed-upon return date and time.

The items are in the same condition as when they were rented (clean, undamaged, and complete).

3. Exemptions

Non-returnable Products: Certain items are sold outright and are not subject to the authorization hold. These include but are not limited to:

Balloons
-
Candles
-
Other disposable or single-use products as specified at the time of booking.

4. Late Returns and Damaged Items

Late Returns: Rentals returned past 9 AM after the rental date(s) will forfeit its refundable fee. The refundable fee will be deducted from the authorization hold.

Damaged Items: If items are returned damaged or incomplete, the refundable fee will be forfeited to cover the cost of repair or replacement and will be deducted from the authorization hold.

5. Inspection and Dispute Resolution

Inspection: All returned items will be inspected by our staff within 48 hours of return.

Notification: Renters will be notified via email or phone of any issues that may affect their refund.

Disputes: Any disputes regarding charges or the condition of items must be raised within 2 business days of notification.

6. General Conditions

The renter agrees to handle all rented items with care and return them in the condition received.

Primestar reserves the right to modify this policy as needed. Updates will be communicated to customers via our website or booking confirmation materials.
